Chinese Humanism Research since 1978:Reflections and Expectations

Since reform and opening-up,Chinese humanism has been basically proceeding alongside the practice of China’s modernization program,and has a positive bearing on social practice.Humanism has played a positive role in promoting ideological emancipation of the Chinese people,reviving empirical rationality,maturing subjective consciousness and updating the idea of development.However,humanism is confronted with the difficulty of acquiring theoretical depth and of making theoretical breakthroughs.If humanism researchers want to overcome the difficulties,they have to transform paradigms,solve the questions of what to research and how to research,which is to orient towards humanity and to articulate epochal spirit in writing.
