Abstract
Based on the analysis of characteristics of smart antenna,detailed discussion was performed against the theoretical methods about smart antenna.According to different methods of antenna beam processing and forming,smart antenna’s architecture and classification were introduced.The algorithms for accomplishing the smart antenna technology were presented in detail,and corresponding optimal strategy was also proposed according to differences of operation capability and measurement requirement.Finally,the application status and future development of smart antenna were summarized and expected.
