Abstract
Based on versions of A Guide to the Core Journals of China from 2000 to now,this paper chooses 14 core journals of library and information as the research objects,and gains the data from CSSCI,via adding authority to calculate the immediacy index through statistical survey of the total cited rate,journal cited rate and discipline cited rate.Meanwhile,this paper discusses the immediate academic value and influence of these core journals.
