Abstract
As a response to the worsening water contamination by algae, the characteristics of individual and integrated process of powdered activated carbon(PAC) and ultrafiltration(UF) for removal Microcystic aeruginosa were respectively studied. The results show that the individual process of PAC was ineffective to remove the algae.Although the process of UF was efficient, and the removal rate could achieve 95%,but the membrane fouling was fairly serious. However, the removal rate of PAC-UF integrated process could reach as high as 99.99% when the dosage of PAC was 15 mg/L,and also the operation was stable and membrane fouling reduecd effectively.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
