Abstract
The philosophy of higher education in China is developing on the basis of critical thinking about Brubacher's Philosophy of Higher Education, and forming several different viewpoints. The results from comparing the philosophy of higher education between China and America shows that there are several differences in the aspects of research path, logical starting point and basic attribute etc.In my view, the philosophy of higher education should affirm the double effects of experience and logic, complete the theoretical construction in the version of bodi profound knowledge and people, and integrate educational nature, academic nature, occupational nature into each other. Moreover,we expect a new philosophy of higher education which reveals the life influence of higher education.
