Abstract
By theoretical analyses and practical measurement during the construction of displacement pile foundation, we have deemed that excess pore water pressure in the installing pile group is different from that around a pile. Although influence factors in pile group are more complicated than around a pile, yet excess pore water pressure in pile group tends to steady owing to the limitation of influence of installing piles each other and water split action. We have studied the formation, distribution and variance tendence of excess pore water pressure in pile group in saturated soft soil. Its distribution and range of influence radius out pile groups are discussed, too.
