Study on the Importance of Positive Nursing in the Nursing Path of Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract

Objective:To study the importance of positive nursing in the nursing path of Alzheimer's disease.Method:88 patients over 60 years old who were hospitalized for treatment of Alzheimer's disease from May 2013 to May 2014 were chosen.They were divided into group A and group B at random.Patients in the group A were given the positive nursing path with emotion while patients in the group A were cured with the application of traditional nursing path.The total effective rate,Mini-mental State Examination(MMSE) and Activities of Daily Living(ADL) of the two groups were compared.Result:The effective rate of group A was 75.0% and that of group B was 56.8%.MMSE and ADL of the patients in the group A were obviously better than that in the group B(P0.05).Conclusion:Positive nursing is important in the nursing path of Alzheimer's disease.
