An exploration of the source of the essence of Chinese poetry

Language plays a dominant part in shaping thinking. The thinking mode of Han Nationality is one of inspiration and intuition. The poetry composed in such a language spoke a language in-itself through constituting artistic conception conditionally. The New Poetry puts particular stressed on reasoning, which brought an intellectual and analytical thinking mode into the poetry. As a result, Chinese language shifts from its original manner of speaking. But poetry is language speaking itself, hence, the creation and criticism of the New Poetry should be measured by with or without artistic conception in it.
