Abstract
The improvement in the strength of the cold-formed steel sections makes it possible to use thinner plates so as to achieve more economy in building construction. As one of several strength-governing modes, distortional buckling is receiving more attentions. Some main achievements on the distortional buckling analysis are summarized to ensure a better understanding of this phenomenon.
