Abstract
The community structure and species diversity of planktonic algae, and the relationships between planktonic algae and the physicochemical parameters of Jinhe River were analyzed.A total of 81 planktonic algae species belonging to 5 phyla and 39 genera were identified, among which Chlorophyta was dominant and followed by Euglena and Bacillariphyta. The dominant species were Spirulina masima,Cryptomonas erosa,Lepocinclis pseudotexta,Cryptomonas ovata and Chilomonas paramaecium. The results showed that the composition and distribution of algae species and water quality changes matched in principle, indicating that Jinhe River was at the state of the severe eutrophication.
