Abstract
The planktonic algae were investigated from June to December,2008 in Xiaoguan Lake,Guiyang city. The results showed that 57 genera of planktonic algae were identified in June. They belong to 5 phyla.36.84% were Chlorophyta,36.84% were Cyanophyta. In October,49 genera of planktonic algae were identified. They belong to 5 phyla.40.8% were Chlorophyta,32.65% were Cyanophyta. In December,46 genera of planktonic algae were identified. They belong to 4 phyla.50% were Chlorophyta,15.22% were Cyanophyta.According to distribution and abundant of predominant planktonic algae,bio-diversity index, the pollution state of Xiaoguan Lake is poor nutrition type.
