The contribution of Philosophy in Zhuangzi to the studies on Laozi

One of the most important contributions of Zhuangzi to the studies of Laozi,is that Zhuangzi solved the problem of how to gain natural laws. In this article,we name it the theory of comprehending natural laws. The dialectic of Zhuangzi rooted in Laozi’s. Dialectic of Laozi was only a rudiment. Laozi noticed the opposite relationship of things,but he couldn’t explain the interdependent relationship of the opposite things,and the reason of the opposition. But in the dialectic of Zhuangzi,all the problems were explained expressly. The school of Zhuangzi’s life philosophy founded new theories basing on Laozi’s natural laws. And the method of investigating life phenomenon in a distant background was a representative one among them. Therefore,it is a representative contribution to the history of the studies on Laozi.
