Repairing the broad nostril and nutant ala nasi with the excision of the part of soft tissue of nasal vestibule

Objective To disscuss the surgical procedures of repairing the broad nostril and droopy nasal ala.Methods 78 cases with the broad nostril and droopy nasal ala were treated with rhomboid excision of the part of soft tissue of nasal vestibule and with nose augmentation at the same time.Results 72 cases(92.3%) were content with the treatment,6 cases(7.7%) were satisfactory with the second stage treatment by the same method after 6months,all patients with a 3 months to 2 years follow up.Conclusion The method by rhomboid excision of the part of soft tissue of nasal vestibule is effective and micro-invasive and easily acceptable.
