Abstract
【Objective】 To explore the value of atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance(ASCUS) diagnosed by the Thinprep cytology test and cervical biopsy.【Methods】 500 cases who were diagnosed as ASCUS underwent colposcopic examinations and cervical biopsy were analyzed retrospectively.【Results】 The results of cervical biopsy who diagnosed ASCUS: inflammation 358 cases(71.6%),cervical polyp 4 cases(0.8%),condyloma acuminatum 4 cases(0.8%),CINⅠ 74 cases(14.8%),CINⅡ 27 cases(5.4%),CIN Ⅲ 33 cases(6.6%),invasive carcinoma 0 cases(0%).【Conclusion】The patients that diagnosed ASCUS could receive cervical biopsy for early detection of cervical lesions.
