Abstract
Based on the geological structure and physical characteristics of Dunmi fault zone,this paper presents the study of the rule governing geological structure of the fault zone in Heilongjiang section and analysis of control of the eastern part of the coal-bearing basin.The study shows that coal-bearing basins in J3~K1 and E2 formation occurs as sedimentary basins subject to control of fusion parts of Dunmi fault zone and old east-west-formation.The application of the theory results in the discovery of a new coal-bearing basin in located in Jingbo region.
