Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of adefovir on hepatic cirrhosis.Methods72 cases with hepatic cirrhosis were divided randomly into treatment group and control group. Both groups were given the same basal treatment, but the patients in treatment group were additionally administered with adefovir.Their main clinical signs were observed. The plasma levels of TBIL,ALT,AST,PT,ALB,markers of HBV and HBV-DNA were examined.ResultsThe main clinical signs and levels of TBIL,ALT,AST,PT,markers of HBV and HVB-DNA in treatment group were significantly lower than those in control group(P0.05 or 0.01).ConclusionAdefovir can inhibit replication with HB virus, remarkably improve liver function of patients with hepatic cirrhosis
