Abstract

Aim To study the chemical constituents of Coniogramme japonica. Methods The Rhizome of C.japonica were extracted with ethanol and the chemical constituents were separated by chromatography technique, and their structures were determined by spectral analysis. Results Fourteen compounds were isolated and identified as onitisin(1),glycerol 1,3-dipalmitate(2),5α,8α-peroxy-ergosta-6,22E-diene-3β-ol(3),β-sitosterol palmitate(4),palmitic acid(5),stearic acid(6),stigmast-4-ene-3β,6β-diol(7),apigenin(8),β-sitosterol(9),β-daucosterol(10),glucose(11),9S,12S,13S-trihydroxy-10-octadecenoic acid(12),daucosterol palmitate(13)、4-oxododecanedioic acid(14).Conclusion Compounds 1 to 3,5 to 8 and 11 to 14 were isolated from Coniogramme japonica for the first time.
