The Applied History or the Employment of History——A Study of the Disciplinary Attribute of Public History

It has been about three decades since the emergence of public history.The new discipline is in the ascendant,but its unigque discipline attribute and social function indicate a great change in the relationship between the traditional history and the society.The crisis that led to the emergence of public history was not an outcome of the historys professionalization but the social instruction that urged the history to make a response to the division of profession.Public history conducts a special role in society connecting the academic history with society.As a result,public history eased traditional history from those straits.
