Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the curative effect of endoscopic sinus surgery on chronic sinusitis in children. METHODS The clinical data of 36 children with chronic sinusitis (66 sides) underwent functional endoscopic sinus surgery were analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS According to the therapeulic evaluation criterion of endoscopic sinus surgery, the cure and i m pr o ved r at es wer e 83 .34 % an d 16.6 7 % respectively. CONCLUSION Endoscopic sinus sur- gery is an effective method in the treatment of chronic sinusitis in children.
