Abstract

The determination of trace Pb,Cd,As and Cr in salt was studied by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(ICP-MS).The (optimum) conditions for the determination were tested. The detection limits of the method were 0.003 μg/L for Pb,0.005 μg/L for Cd,0.003 (μg/L) for As,0.008 μg/L for Cr.The recoveries were in the range of 90.8%-109.5%.RSDs were less than 3.68%.This method was accurate, rapid and convenient. It was used for the determination of trace Pb,Cd,As and Cr in salt with satisfactory results.
