Abstract

TANG Junyi and QIAN Zhongshu were two academic masters of Chinese academic circle in the 20~(th) century.Both of them shared some similar academic qualities in the strong national consciousness,wise thinking and exploring to reach the culture-pass border.However,their research methods and reflecting means are different.Tang's systematic works are famous for its rigorous structure and sophisticated reasoning,which brings his works a reputation of philosophical poetics;Qian's works are well known for its appreciation or interpretation with aesthetic sensibility in various ideas.Being as spiritual individuals,both of them contributed to the cultural poetics of China in the 20~(th) century.
