Abstract
The methodologies and steps of exact modeling for the involute helical gear in Pro/Engineer are introduced.Based on principles,the involute and helix are established by equations to ensure the veracity of the involute dentiform.The fast modeling is conducted for various modulus and teeth number shift the gear by setting up relations between variable and basic parameters.The method is very convenient for a series of manufacture designs and modifications.
