Abstract
A new general radar signal processor is designed, which is based on four pieces of HunXin-1 high performance DSP processor and one piece of FPGA.In the processing system, the point to point communications of the four DSP chips are implemented by the high speed link ports, the data pretreatment and the protocol transfer of interface are implemented by high level FPGA made by Altera Inc.The processor has good capabilities of computation and data exchange, excellent universality, reconfigurable performance and expansibility. Finally the performance and application value are confirmed through computing performance measurement and the signal processing of a digital array radar(DAR),which employs the HunXin-1 chips in its signal processor.
