MAX6950/6951 is a serially interfaced LED display driver,which is a product of Maxim Integrated Products,Inc..A hexadecimal decoder and a intensity controller are integrated in single chip.The architecture and function of the MAX6951 and the hardware and software of MAX6951 with ARM microcontroller LPC2214 are introduced in the paper.
