Abstract
Many advantages exist in Western China in developing the tertiary industry. They are: favorable policies of the nation to the tertiary industry, recognition of the local governments, numerous consume groups and ready markets, the ascendant coefficient of the tertiary industry over other businesses. The paper points out that Western China should take these advantages to make a vigorous development of the tertiary industry.
