Abstract
To provide guidance for the development and preservation of vaccines against Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV)in this study,we studied the property in cell culture, and physicochemical characters in BHK21cells of JEV SC-YA strain. In result, the physical and chemical identification indicated that JEV SC-YA stain was RNA virus with capsular, which lost its activities under the conditions of trypsin, acid and high temperature. The optimal culture conditions of the JEV SC-YA strain:when the medium amount was 6mL and the inoculation doses was 10-4 TCID50 /0.1mL,the virus titer reached the maximum at hour 48 post-inoculation.In conclusion,JEV SC-YA strain may be used for vaccine production.
