Abstract
In order to improve the accuracy of transmission line fault location,the transmission line fault intelligent diagnosis system is applied on trial in a 220 k V transmission line in Nanning power grid. The system which consists of traveling wave acquisition equipment,data center and workstation and so on,comprehensively applies single terminal traveling wave fault location method and dual terminal traveling wave fault location method to locate the transmission line fault. The system is stalled and applied in a 220 k V transmission line in Nanning power grid which has been suffered frequent fault trip for several years. Practical operation shows that the system can realized the accurate location of transmission line fault.
