Construction of a Virtual Laboratory Based on the Campus Network

With the development of virtual reality technology and the campus network,more attention is paid to the practical teaching and it is possible to set up virtual laboratory.This paper introduces the principle of the virtual laboratory based on the campus network,compares some kinds of setting-up methods,which include ActiveX technology,QVTR and the VRML language.Taking VRML as an example,it summarizes the network's structure of the virtual laboratory,probes into the technology of virtual experiment.Based on it,a distinct knowledge about virtual experiment is available,which is an effective aid to the practical teaching.
