Abstract
Interesting,as a classical Chinese aesthetic category,and ji,as a classical Japanese one,represent historically the academic and spiritual aesthetic consciousness in the two countries.These two categories can be distinguished by a comparison of their artistic values and aesthetic connotations.This also shows China's influence in Japan and Japan's own unique aesthetic characteristics.
