Analysis of "Aesthetic" Concept

Aesthetic concept is centered on experience in Chinese and western history. In the west the experience undergoes a transformation from self-discipline to discipline by others and the connotation of aesthetics also changes from non-utilitarian, purposeless one to utilitarian and pragmatic one. Chinese understanding of aesthetics is influenced by foreign theory, but inherits native tradition concepts. Generally speaking, it is more open, general and compatible. From these transformations it is clear that the connotation of aesthetic concept is very general and it is related to the compatibility and flexibility of experience. This article defines the connotation of this concept.
