Abstract

The treatment of bleaching amd washing effluent from alkaline sodium sulfite pulping line by hydrolysis and bio-contact oxidation process is introduced. The running result shows that the effect of the treatment is good and the operation cost is low,the COD_(Cr)removal rate is higher than 80%.The treated effluent quality could meet the national discharge standard.
