On the Safeguard of Human Rights in the Summary Procedure

Abstract

Summary procedure is an important process in criminal procedure. How to arrange summary procedure is very important. It's in direct relation to a series of defendants' basic rights. The defendants' basic rights are ignored in present summary procedure in China. We should take more perfect measures to safeguard the basic rights of the defendants in criminal procedure.
