Abstract

To observe the efficacy of pyrethroid pesticides against the larva of tobacco beetle(Lasioderma serricorne) in field,the contacting toxicability of pyrethroid pesticides to the larva of tobacco beetle was tested in simulative a cigarette workshop condition in laboratory.The results showed that the pyrethroid pesticides could kill the larva of tobacco beetle fast and effectively;The contacting toxicability of Dagongda was outstanding of all the pyrethroid pesticides studied,followed by alpha-Cypermethrin(5% ),Shafeike,Crackdown and Weide.The contacting toxicability of Resigen were the least.The concentration of Dagongda was 0.100 g/m2 that could kill all the larva tobacco beetles in 24 hours,alpha-Cypermethrin,Shafeike,Crackdown,and Weide was from 0.100 g/ m2 to 0.125 g/m2 level and Resigen was 0.125 g/m2.
