Abstract

Objective To understand the distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria among male urinary tract infection. To provide the basis for clinical rational use of antibiotics. Methods Analyze the result of urine culture and their antimicrobial susceptibility distribution from 501 cases with male urinary tract infection. Results Gram-negative bacteria accounted for 64.5%,and Escherichia coli for 44.1%in them.Gra-positive cocci accounted for 21.8%,among them, the percentage of Enterococcus was 13.0%,fungi was 13.7%;the resistance rate of Enterobacter bacteria to imipenem,piperacillin/tazobactam,nitrofurantoin and amikacin was 0%,1.5%,2.9%,5.4%.The resistance rate of Enterococcus to gatifloxacin, ampicillin, vancomycin and penicillin G,resistance was 0%,5.9%,8.8%,8.8%.Conclusion The pathogens of male urinary tract infection is complicated, gram-negative bacilli(64.5%) was the main pathogen,it resist to common antibiotics with different degrees. We should pay attention to the resistance and surveillance of male urinary tract infection pathogens.
