Combination of Both Scalp and Body Acupuncture in the Treatment of Migraine of 160 Cases

Objective:To investigate the effect of the combination of both scalp and body acupuncture method on migraine.Methods:160 patients were randomly divided into treatment group(80 cases) and control group(80 cases).The treatment group was treated by the combination of both scalp and body acupuncture therapy,and the control group by sibelium.After four weeks of treatment,the clinical effects were observed by comprehensive evaluation of two groups before and after treatment.Results:1.The index of headache of two groups after treatment were significantly lower than that before treatment(P0.05).There were statistical differences between the treatment group and the control group in the index of headache and the differences after treatment(P0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group in relieving headache symptoms.2.The total effective rate was 91.25% for the treatment group and 78.75% for the control group,and there was a significant difference between groups(P0.05).Conclusion:1.The scores of pain extent,attack times,lasting time and accompanied symptoms of headache were improved by the combination of both scalp and body acupuncture method.2.The total effective rate of the treatment group is better than that of the control group obviously.
