Abstract
Objective To detect T cell subsets of peripheral blood by rosette method and flow cytometry and compare the two methods. Methods Rosette method and flow cytometry assay were used respectively for the detection of peripheral blood T cell subsets of CD3+,CD4+, CD4+/ CD8+and CD8+in 160 healthy subjects. The results of the detection,and cost and time of detection were compared between the two methods. Results There were no differences in the levels of CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/ CD8+and CD8+between two methods( P 0. 05); however,the differences in the time and cost of two detection method was significant( all P 0. 01). Conclusion Compared with flow cytometry, rosette method is simple,fast and accurate for the detection of T cell subsets.
