The clinical observation of valsartan combined nifedipine in treatment of essential hypertension

Objective To observe the clinical effect of valsartan combined with nifedipine in treatment of primary hypertension. Methods All of 100 cases of primary hypertension patients according to the different treatment methods were randomly divided to observation group(valsartan and nifedipine treatment) and control group(nifedipine), each with 50 cases,the course was 4 weeks,after treatment 4 weeks,the curative effect was evaluated,and changes of the SBP and DBP were compared and analyzed before and after treatment. Results The total efficiency in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(96% vs 76%,P0.05). After treatment 4 weeks,systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure in observation group was(110.25±7.86) mm Hg,(81.31±6.23) mm Hg,the control group was(117.24±3.54) mm Hg,(86.31±5.12) mm Hg respectively,the difference was significant between two groups(P0.05). Conclusion Valsartan combined with nifedipine in treatment of primary hypertension can improve the curative effect, reduce the level of blood pressure and adverse reactions less, the security is good,and it is worthy of promotion and application.
