Abstract
Objective To explore the etiology and management of incision hernia of abdominal wall.Methods The clinical data of 31 cases with incisional hernia of abdominal wall in our hospital from May.2002 to Feb.2009 were retrospectively analyzed.Results 31 patients were performed a surgical repair with mesh or direct suture.The postoperative complications included:hypodermal seroma(2 cases),sinus formation(1 case),no wound infection.Follow-up 5 months to 6 years without relapse cases.Conclusion Surgical repair with mesh or direct suture can obtain a good effect.We should strengthen the perioperative management and avoid the formation of incision hernia of abdominal wall.
