Abstract

In this paper, we first briefly discuss the principle of gimbaled warhead, and deduce the optimum burst range formula. Second, we discuss the selection method of the optimum radius for random fragments distribution warhead. Last we analyze the effect of the measurement errors of the range and speed as well as other factors on the optimum warhead efficiency.
