Abstract

In this article the local analysis of steel-concrete combined sections in a composite cable stayed bridge with single tower and double cable plane is carried through as an example, which is the No.2 bridge in bridge engineering of Chanba River Biological Zone Gate at Xian.Particular method to analyze exactly using finite element method is presented, and local analysis results are compared with global analysis results.
