On Countermeasures to Promote Cultural Development and Prosperity by Party Organizations at the Grass-roots Level in Rural Areas of Jiangsu Province

Starting from the reality of cultural construction in rural areas of Jiangsu province,this article points out some existing problems,such as insufficient good examples set by cadres at the basic level,the lack of integrated cultural activities and the single forms,inactive farmers' participation in cultural construction,etc.Moreover,it comes up with the corresponding countermeasures to promote cultural development and prosperity,including correct understanding of ideological and cultural construction,making full use of integrated cultural centre,insisting on the masses oriented principle and improving the professional quality of cultural team at the grass-roots level.
