Rehabilitation Nursing for Dysphagia in Elderly Patients with Stroke

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of nursing intervention for dysphagia in elderly patients with stroke.Methods 17 patients accepted swallow training individually.Their swallowing functions were assessed before and after training.Results Their swallowing functions improved after 4-week-training(P0.01).Conclusion Rehabilitation nursing is effective on dysphagia in elderly patients with stroke.
