Abstract
Liposomes are a new kind of the drug-delivery systems.Liposomes after intravenous injection are mainly extracted by the reticuloendothelial system(RES).Therefore, liposomal agents can effectively treat the diseases related to the RES without specific targets. To increase they therapeutic index and effect, liposomes have been improved by locating the homing devices in the lipid layers or by applying the principals of physical chemistry. In this paper,we summarized the development in basic properties of the liposome drug-delivery systems, especially the application of liposomes as carriers of in antitumor drugs.
