Abstract

[Objective]The research aimed to study the optimum method of simultaneous detection of mercury and arsenic in soil samples.[Method]After the sample was digested by aqua regia(1+1),arsenic and mercury in soil were determined by dual-channel atomic fluorescence spectrometry, using optimum working conditions of apparatus and amount of reductant and acid.[Result]The results showed that the detection limits of arsenic and mercury was 0.13 μg/L and 0.03 μg/L.The recovery rate of As was 96.1%-111.0%,and Hg was 90.0%-119.5%.[Conclusion]It was proved that this method is efficient, simple, rapid and high sensitivity, and practicable for simultaneous detection of mercury as well as arsenic in soil samples.
