A Commentary on Modern Education of Guizhou During the late Ming Dynasty and Early Qing Dynasty

The New Policy in the early twentieth century of the Oing Dynasty is the first modern movement all over the country and Guizhou,as a not well-informed province with backward economy and culture,also participates in this movement.In the field of education,Guizhou takes the following measures-setting up new schools,founding new types of academic associations,encouraging to develop non-governmental education,which make some achievements and promote the modernization of Guizhou.However,due to the backward economy,Guizhou faces the difficulty in modern education.
