Abstract

With the wide application of high dimensional database, how to store and organize high dimensional data is becoming more and more crucial for efficient processing in high dimensional database In this paper, existing spatial indexing techniques are divided into four classes and the basic idea of each class is summarized Finally,an universal spatial indexing technic is put forward for the retrieval of high dimensional feature vectors called the generalized R tree
