Abstract

Objective To explore the cystatin C and coagulation index changes of mild pregnancy-induced hypertension(referred to as PIH)patients, and discuss its clinical significance. Methods Serum cystatin C content and coagulation index(PT and APTT,TT,and FIB)of 71 hospitalized patients with mild PIH and 90 healthy maternal cases were tested and compared. Results PIH cystatin C concentration(1.61 ± 0.28)mg/Lwas significantly higher than the control group(1.23±0.32)mg/L(P0.05),while creatinine did not change significantly.PT,TT were significantly reduced(P0.05),the FIB content and the percentage of AT-III were significantly increased(P0.05)and there was no significant difference in APTT.Conclusion Patients with mild PIH have a hypercoagulable tendency and decreased renal function, which calls for due attention.
