Protective Effect and Mechanism of Weinaian Capsule on Gastric Mucosal Lesion Induced by Alcohol in Mice

Objective: To investigate the protective effect of Weinaian capsule on gastric mucosal lesion in mice induced by alcohol. Methods: Mice were randomly divided into normal group,model group,low dose group and high dose group.The lesion index of mice were measured and pathological changes of gastric mucosa were assessed under light microscopy 1 hour after alcohol inducement. Results: Gastric mucosal lesion indexes in high dose group and low dose group were both obviously reduced compared to that in the model control group,and the gastric mucosal lesions in those two experimental groups significantly alleviated compared to that of the control group under light microscopy.Conclusion: Weinaian capsule could significantly protect acute gastric mucosal lesion induced by alcohol in mice.
