The Relationship between Conversational Implicature and Context on Language Teaching

Abstract

Conversational implicature is one of the categories of pragmatics.It is closely related to context which makes it definite and unique .Context restricts the selection of discourse,the carrier of conversational implicature and context ,which have guiding effects on the training of listening ,conversation and translation ability as other aspects of language teaching.
