Abstract
4-(2-Furyl)-3-buten-2-one was synthesized by the condensation of furfural and acetone in ammonia medium. The optimum condition for the condensation of furfural and acetone by an orthogonal experiment was as follows: the molar ratio of furfural to acetone 1∶10,reaction temperature 80 ℃,0.6 mol·L-1ammonia 6.6 mL,reaction time 12 h.Under the optimum condition, the conversion of furfural reached 91.4%,the yield and selectivity of 4-(2-Furyl)-3-buten-2-one were 72.4% and 79.3%,respectively.4-(2-Furyl)-3-buten-2-one purified by atmospheric vacuum distillation was light yellow,needle-like crystals that was identified by FT-IR and 1H-NMR.
